2018 greeted us with a new term for a weather event, the bomb cyclone!! dumping snow, frigid wind chills, and a quick wave window before dark. The snow lightened up around 3 p.m., but the wind did not. Wind chill in the negatives, and wave heights 6-7ft. It was a quick 45-65 min window that was not for the faint of heart. Lots of paddling, lots of ice, lots of fun!?! Safe to assume mostly East Coast surfers would entertain a session in these conditions!!
